No surprise, research related to female sanitary products are very rare. A recent study by UC Berkley conducted research on 30 different tampons and found arsenic, mercury, lead, and other metals in EVERY SINGLE brand in both The UK and US. Exposure to these metals is associated with ailments such as infertility, dementia, diabetes and more. Future research is required to see the effects of exposure. I personally use a menstrual cup and found my perfect fit here: Put a Cup in it!
