May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental Health Awareness Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans’ lives and to celebrate recovery from mental illness. May marks the time to increase awareness about the vital role mental health plays in our overall health and well-being. Depression characteristics can look different in separate groups due to culture and societal pressures. Health care workers may not recognize the symptoms in their patients, so it is important to know what may indicate depression in you and loved ones. For example, Black women may exhibit more somatic symptoms such as body aches or fatigue and might mask symptoms with a "Superwoman" schema, over-functioning in daily tasks while neglecting personal mental health needs.

Wegovy Can Help Sustain Weight Loss and Improve Heart Health
Recent research released reveals that semaglutide, the active ingredient in Wegovy, facilitated an average weight loss of over 10% maintained for up to four years, significantly outperforming the placebo group's 1.5% weight loss. A previous trial, more focused on structured lifestyle interventions for weight loss, showed even greater efficacy with an average reduction of 15%. Continual use of the medication appears crucial, as other studies, including one by Eli Lilly using the drug Zepbound, indicate significant weight regain upon discontinuation. Despite these strong averages, some individuals on placebo managed to maintain a substantial portion of their weight loss, highlighting variability in individual responses to treatment. Overall, about 68% of Wegovy users lost at least 5% of their body weight over two years, with some achieving losses exceeding 25%, underscoring that individual experiences with the medication can vary widely.

It is reported he gifted her approximately TWO MILLION DOLLARS in gifts as she agreed to be his second wife, but later decided to not continue with the relationship. Aisha is now remarried and lives in Gambia. Talk about a jilted lover! The video below began my rabbit hole search into this crazy story.
