Unless you have been under a rock, I am sure you have seen the raids that happened at two of Sean Combs’ many homes. Homeland Security and other federal bigwigs decided to drop by not one, but two of Diddy's homes. Now, as of me hitting send on this newsletter, the powers that be haven't spilled the beans on exactly what they were digging for. But if you've been nosing around TMZ or catching whispers elsewhere, you might've heard some rather eyebrow-raising rumors, eerily reminiscent of some Epstein-level drama. I have a question… Where are the twin girls at this time? You may remember, their mother, Kim Porter, died in 2018, and we thankfully didn’t see them in any released videos or pictures from the raids. Let's just send a little extra love and good vibes their way, shall we?.
While researching some of the people associated with the case, I came across a name I first heard when the producer, Lil Rod, sued Diddy a few weeks ago. (BTW: Lil Rod has included actor, Cuba Gooding, Jr. to the lawsuit). Ethiopia Habtemariam has a long career in the music industry, and it appears she may have become a federal witness against Diddy for immunity. 🫢 Click below to listen to her story.

Pelumi Nubi
Did you catch the story of Pelumi, the adventurer currently navigating from London to Lagos by car? Yes, you read that right. She’s steering her way across continents in a tiny Peugeot, facing challenges that sound straight out of a movie—think denied entries, a car accident, and more. What’s even more fascinating is that she put her PhD on pause to embark on this 20-stop cross-continental journey. Her courage and determination are nothing short of inspiring. Nepo Baby?
Nepo Baby: A child born into exceptional fame, wealth, or influence, whose path to success is largely predetermined by their family's considerable resources and connections. Unlike an average person who may inherit a family trade, a Nepo Baby is groomed from birth to dominate global industries, politics, or social spheres.
Malia Obama quietly made her way into the latest Sundance Festival with a short film titled "The Heart." And get this—she didn't lean on her famous surname to open doors for her. It raises an interesting question: can we really call her a nepo baby? Seems like she's determined to carve out her own path in the world of film. What do you think?
Finances
This week, I had a heart-to-heart with a close friend who's navigating the home buying jungle in California. In just a whirlwind of a month, she watched the interest rates skyrocket. After doing the math, the staggering reality hit her: her family is looking at almost $2 million in interest alone! With the current rates, stepping into the housing market feels more like an obstacle course. It's a tough scene for many trying to find their new home base. I found this video very interesting on how the interest rates greatly affect the overall costs.
Level Up
Lately, it feels like my inbox is bursting with invites to networking events—guess we're all eager to mingle again post-pandemic hibernation. I stumbled upon this 22-second gem of a video that lays out a foolproof strategy for navigating these gatherings without the usual awkwardness, ensuring you really reap the benefits. However, I've got to side-step from the creator's advice just a bit—I believe a dash of small talk actually spices things up. It's all about striking that perfect balance, right?
