Where is Christina Johnson?
Hey friend,
You might not have heard about Christina, and honestly, I wouldn't hold it against you. She's fresh-out-of-college gal and disappeared while walking her dog one morning, and it's been about two weeks with no sign of her. What's worse, her story barely hit the local news, taking a full 10 days to get there. In February, that young girl who also vanished without an immediate Amber Alert? Both of them are African American, and it's heartbreaking but true that our sisters don't get the media spotlight when they go missing.
So, I went down the rabbit hole to figure out how Black families can fight for the coverage their missing loved ones desperately need. I dug through tons of info and put together some tips below. I pray you never have to use this info, but just in case, here are a few tips:
Have nice photos of you on your social media or send to family and friends that may attract media attention.
Engage newsroom managers at your local stations. Remind them about the disparity in newsroom coverage and how you would like your missing loved one to be featured.
Share on social media information about your missing loved one on various platforms at least three times weekly.
Engage social media accounts with many followers and ask them if they will share the post. Remember they are not obligated, so ask several in hopes one or two may respond favorably.

Diane Abbott, Black Member of English Parliament (MP), Receives Threat
Have you caught wind of the mess going down in England with Diane Abbott? It's really shaking things up. Diane, our beloved "Auntie Di" in the Black community and a titan in British politics, is smack in the middle of some really scary news. Would you believe, a loaded Tory donor actually suggested she should be shot? Yeah, you heard that right.
Diane broke ground as the first Black woman MP for Hackney North and Stoke Newington in 1987, and she's been a steadfast voice there ever since. Now at 70, her influence and advocacy are just as vital as ever. So, hearing that someone's calling for violence against her is not just shocking; it's downright alarming. It's stirring up a lot of anxiety and worry, not just among Black Britons, but everywhere.
@amahlamusic Did you know this is happening in the UK right now? His name is Frank Hester, and her name is #DianeAbbott. If you are not Black, I want y... See more

Loan forgiveness
Did you know Black women carry the heaviest debt load for education out of any group? On average, we're talking about $38,800 for an undergrad degree and a whopping $58,252 for grad school. But here's a bit of hopeful news—there's this relatively new federal loan repayment plan called SAVE. You might think it's a long shot for you, but honestly, I'd say go for it and apply anyway. I've been seeing a lot of folks on my timeline celebrating because they got hundreds of thousands in school loans forgiven. Worth a shot, right?

Be careful who you listen to online! A few weeks ago, A woman who goes by TheKeptWifeLife on Tiktok went online to say she does not like “ghetto people”. Social media did background investigations, and learned her life is a lie, and she has some “ghetto” traits herself.

Affirmation of the Day
Cash flows to me easier than drama to a reality TV show, and trust me, that's saying something.
